We write all our own music, telling stories through our songs, with a little kick of humour in between. Our lyrics are inspired by current events, life experiences, the techno/ corporate world (where we've spent a ton of time), our travels, and our Canadian perspective. We'll bring a smile to your face, even when we sing about serious matters like our experiences with COVID, the war in Ukraine, or the challenging Canadian winters.

Welcome to the world of Bird River Band, where two musicians packed in their day jobs as professional engineers and joined forces to create an acoustic experience like no other! With a lifetime of musical passion and a dash of engineering ingenuity, we craft original tunes that tell engaging stories about life experiences, current events and world travels - all with a unique Canadian perspective. We are Randy (on acoustic guitar) and David (on standup bass) from Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada.
